Things are getting quieter as we move into the summer holiday season – at least, that’s what I thought.
But as you can see from the news below, I’ve been proven wrong.
I’ve been in Lisbon for a few days for the Non-Fungible Conference. I kept my head down for the past few months and attended no events. But it was good to meet people in person again. It was a lovely event, a perfect time to reconnect with old friends and make new ones. Here are some impressions:

All Nippon Airlines launched an NFT marketplace for their subsidiary “ANA Neo.” They are not selling tickets as NFTs (yet), but it’s a start:

Nike announced a partnership with Fortnite. They’re planning a sneaker hunt (presumably in Fortnite) tomorrow:

Louis Vuitton has made significant waves by launching their “VIA” journey. LV is selling a 39,000 Euro NFT, granting you access to exclusive products (and events?). I’m eagerly waiting to see how VIA will unfold:

Here are more thoughts about “VIA” by Farokh, who was invited to the launch event. Interestingly, Louis Vuitton didn’t invite traditional fashion influencers but focused more on influencers from the Web3 world:

No matter where you look, you can see that LVMH bolsters its efforts around Web3, 3D, etc. They announced a strategic partnership with Epic Games, saying, “This strategic partnership will empower LVMH and its Maisons to further utilize Epic’s powerful 3D creation tools to offer experiences like virtual fitting rooms and fashion shows, 360 product carousels, augmented reality, creation of digital twins and more”:

H3NSY is the Web3 project of Hennessy, a brand that is also part of LVMH. They probably threw the best party at NFC in Lisbon:

A few weeks ago, Mercedes-Benz announced they’re continuing their Web3 journey (they were pretty early with their G-Class NFT a while ago). Details remain thin:
