Constantly Curious.
This is the new name of this newsletter. It actually never had a name. It was just “my newsletter.”
I feel like constantly curious is the right name for it. I find myself in it – I am constantly curious. If there is one thing I would say about myself, I have always been curious. And it is the one thing I want to carry on until my last breath.
My curiosity gravitates toward new technologies. Since I can remember, I was interested in technology. First, it was around gaming (Atari, C64), and then Apple entered my life in the early 90s, mobile phones in the mid-90s, the Internet in the late 9os, the iPod, and the iPhone. In 2010, the iPad led to the decision to start a mobile app development company. It never stopped: blockchain, smart contracts, and NFT were something I wanted to understand from 2013 on. Today, I am curious about the future of the internet, which role Web3 and “Metaverse” will play, and how Apple might change how we interact with computers.
The second thing my curiosity gravitates towards is marketing and business. I wanted to work on world-class brands for as long as I can remember. Those were always brands that had a cultural impact. Like Eastpak, Stussy, Dickies, Mini, Highsnobiety, and many others. I still want to understand how strong brands work.
I have always wanted to execute ideas, understand business models, and try to understand the technological impact on businesses. That's also why I started a few ventures myself.
This is the lens I am looking through most of my time and what I will try to share with you.
I firmly believe change is constant. And you need to be constantly curious to stay ahead.
