"Begin with Yourself."
Recently, I delivered the last talk at a conference - Block im Park. And I wondered how to end a day full of inspiration.
We all know this feeling after a conference. You have heard many new things; you met many interesting people. But how do you channel this energy into your everyday work and routine? Unfortunately, all too often, I've found that this vibrant energy tends to fade just a few days after returning to work.
So, I thought I give ten tips to help conserve that energy and incorporate continuous learning and progress into your daily life.
Starting with #1: "Begin with Yourself."
Embrace learning - knowledge is easily accessible today. Just start your journey. Google. Read. Follow the path. Delve deeper into areas that captivate you. We can all afford to spend an hour or two on this daily.
Discover your niche. My passion for brands guided me throughout my whole life and has always shaped my perspective on "Web3 and Metaverse". What's your passion? What sparks your interest? Dive deep into your niche. The deeper, the better.
By doing this, you're naturally building expertise. And since it's your area of interest, you'll find yourself energized by immersing deeper.
Don't hoard your knowledge. Share it. Begin writing; start with LinkedIn. Don't be afraid. If your writing is heartfelt and authentic, it will be more engaging than 99.5% of the content on LinkedIn. Don't hesitate, fearing judgment. Who cares? I took too long to realize this; you must avoid making the same mistake.
Start talking. It might be daunting to step onto a stage, but as long as you're talking about something you're passionate about, people will be all ears. In addition, speaking to an audience helps shape your thoughts, as you need to give your ideas a beginning and end.
Build a network. It will naturally evolve as you write and speak. Your growing network will lead you to new places you could have never imagined.
Start now. Embrace the journey. You might not even need #2 to #10 from my list 😊.
